Car crash, miracles, and an earthquake Nov 17, 2025

Holaaaa todos!! What a week, probably one of my most difficult and weird and wild ones of being a missionary! But god and his power exist, otherwise a lot more worse things could have happened!  Last p day- we did some disc golf in a beutiful park, and it started raining! Crazy, but tons of fun. We then all got some food and had a fun day at the church playing volleyball and chair soccer! We also bought these Hispanic- type ponchos! From where? Bass pro shops. This week it SNOWED!! So so exciting! We were very excited! We were blasting our Christmas songs all morning and it was like a whirlwind of snow, and it was the greatest day ever. We set up all our Christmas decorations and having been listening to music, luckily the mission is pretty chill with different types of music so we have been able to listen too some fun songs! Welcome to New York: the land of people, pizza and patience! Nov 10, 2025

Hola todos!!!! This will be one of my longer emails, so just let yourself brace for the worst. But buckle down! K so Wednesday morning on the 5th, I left the CCM! Didn't sleep that night cause we were all a bit anxious ( those of my casa that was still there) so we played hide and seek and the scary flashlight game for like 3 hours instead! So great. Then we went to the airport, there I said bye to hermana jack who was in my district and literally the GOAT!! It was legit like saying bye to my sister, hard. But me and 6 other missionaries all went the rest of the day travelling! From long flights of resisting Satan to watch movies, to eating burger king on the airport floor, it was a great day!! Arrival: k so flying from Orlando Florida, to new york city was so sick, we flew straight at the city, so you couldn't tell when you were gonna get there. Movies, scares, and final days! Oct 31, 2025

Feliz Halloween! What a great week!! And also crazy! In mexico theres a celebration happening for both Halloween, and even bigger, el dia de meurtes! (day of the dead) its the biggest mexican holiday ever and takes place nov 1 and 2 its a two day thing, so this is just the best day ever! And its been so cool to be here for it!! We were told yesterday that on saturday, the 1st,  we are gonna be the first missionaries allowed to watch a movie in the MTC. Sooo like you may guess we are gonna watch COCO as a mtc! In a massive auditorium, hopefully with popcorn... This was my last week here which is actually insane to think about, I leave in about 4 days; and we finished classes this week, time literally flies. So there's this big EI test its called, that you take to evaluate how your spanish is at the end of the MTC and its a pretty big deal. So on the test a native speaker usually gets around a 7 out of 10, and I ended up getting a 3.9, soo not bad, i'm about where I should be, bu...

City, Songs, and Spanish! Oct 25, 2025

Hola todos!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week!! Crazy to think I only have one more p-day after this until I leave mexico! About a week and a half! Crazyyy I realized with all my time i haven't really talked about the days we leave the mtc, which are some of my favourite days. You are kind of in this secluded bubble in the mtc, which is good in so many ways, but not in others. Its pretty unsafe outside the walls unfortunately, we hear a lot of what we think are gunshots outside the walls every morning, but our teacher said its actually majority fireworks... but why people would be setting those off at 2am, no idea!  But anyways the city of mexico is HUGE! It covers and goes up mountains like snow, its insane, there's constant noise and just bustle, and I love it. When we are on the bus its so cool to watch the life outside the window! Each block and street, there's a different life being lived and everyone is doing different things! I guess with a repeating schedule...

Sickness, theft, and scriptures Oct 17, 2025

Arriba!!! That word means 'above' or just an exclamation!! Its my favourite word right now! Especially if you roll the r's! I hope everyones week was so so wonderful! And that everyone is doing amazing! My prayers have been for you all,  and a special shout out to my cousin and grandpa who had birthdays this week! I love you guys!  This week started off very rough, there was a bug going around and one of our water jugs turned out to not be potable, so half our casa got throat infections, I think it was a mix of a few things though! But we were all sick for most of the week and i didn't sleep well cause we are all scrambling for medications at 2 am and coughing all, but it is what it is😅 We also had the oppurtunity to give lots of blessings to eachother which  were of strength and healing,  and my district wasnt nearly as sick as others,  it was a huge blessing! So we get 2 hours of exersize time each day and we always play beach volleyball and pickleball and ul...

Questionable food, weather, and activities Oct 10, 2025

Hola todos!! The easiest I could write this email is by "replying" to it cause little do I know, copy and paste does not work! Crazy stuff, hopefully I can figure it out so I hope this works out for you all! - Ok so! This was my whole first week in the MTC! and I actually love it! My district and I get along so so well! And my comp is just as good inperson then ever, he's also so so funny and makes me laugh so much! We are goofs, at the right times of course. Every morning we run around the campus with all the elders, the mountains and city of mexico are so... present and you feel so small and its  honestly very peaceful and a great way to start the morning.  - The food in the mtc, honestly its pretty good, most of the time ( empasis on most ) amd your so hungry anyways, besides theres only been two meals that iv'e avoided and both have looked like fresh raw chicken, sooo im thankful i just chose to eat cereal, which is always an option haha. Spanish dictionaries, old british ladies, and accidental illegal activities October 3, 2025

Hola todos! Before I answer the topic of my email, I want to let all people know im safely in mexico city MTC! It was a long 15 hours of travelling, but i'm so happy i'm here. Also this is hard to write cause we have our temporary samsung phones right now so the keyboard and phone is all so new! - K so to the topic and a bit about my flights. So saying goodbye to my family was pretty hard and emotional but they were able to see me all the way through security and that was a blessing! I miss you guys a lot. Anyways I got on the plane to toronto with no troubles, which was expected. Then everyone sarted watching movies and I was like ahh the pressure, but mom, I resisted, so I studied my very small dictionary by like the light of a very small overhead thingy, that was 4 hours ill nevet get back. -  When in toronoto it was pretty hectic and customs took so long, but got through with about 45 minutes till my flight! Soo I killed time playing corn hole by myself which was a bit sad ...
