Questionable food, weather, and activities Oct 10, 2025

Hola todos!!

The easiest I could write this email is by "replying" to it cause little do I know, copy and paste does not work! Crazy stuff, hopefully I can figure it out so I hope this works out for you all!

- Ok so! This was my whole first week in the MTC! and I actually love it! My district and I get along so so well! And my comp is just as good inperson then ever, he's also so so funny and makes me laugh so much! We are goofs, at the right times of course. Every morning we run around the campus with all the elders, the mountains and city of mexico are so... present and you feel so small and its honestly very peaceful and a great way to start the morning.

- The food in the mtc, honestly its pretty good, most of the time ( empasis on most ) amd your so hungry anyways, besides theres only been two meals that iv'e avoided and both have looked like fresh raw chicken, sooo im thankful i just chose to eat cereal, which is always an option haha. And my comp has eaten cereal almost every meal so honestly i'm proud of myself.

- It was really rainy this week but i LOVE the rain!! Its like so warm and so so relaxing! Me and my comp the first time it rained stood outside with earbuds, and listened to the song " shanendoah" one thats special to my family, and so i felt a lot of gods love for me and my family! And like elder hatch said he felt the same and it was a really special moment. Rain and nature just cleanse me and its so relaxing and definetly needed!

- Some things my district ( mostly the elders ) have done are; buzz cuts at midnight ( not me), playing big bootie and stella ella ola, having very safe chicken fights, and playing quidditch! ( we rode on these leaf things that look like brooms and the ball was a haki sack) and went to the temple which was so beatiful! All so so fun!

This week spanish really picked up, we are epected to teach and learn classes in only spanish in about a week theres no english allowed so pretty scary honestly! But on wednesday we introduced this competition/game/excersize with my teachers and district! Its called " latinos y latinas" and you choose two people for the day that can only speak spanish in front of the teachers, but the rest of us also speak all spanish to throw our teachers off on who it is. Cause if we speak english they know its not us, so its really fun and useful cause you are always using spanish, its so tiring though but really fun!

Quick spiritual thought! Find the joys and things that make you happy in life especially in times of hardship! Those things; wether its music or family or nature, are meant to provide communications with god and to feel peaceful, so please find the things that you love and feel joy and utilize them! Its pretty amazing.

This was soo long but a lot happened, ill find my rythm someday! Have a great week everyone, I love you, and send me anything i should pray for!
